The Global Location Number (GLN) is a 13 digits identification for locations, functions, etc. The picture illustrates this; it is prefixed by the Application Identifier '410' which indicates that this is a delivery place (orange).
The GLN consists in a GCP (dark red) and a sequencial number (yellow) allocated by the user company, ended by a check digit (blue)

Definition of GLN

The GLN is a 13-digit number used to uniquely identify any legal, functional or physical entity.
The number assigned by the holder of the GS1 Company Prefix to uniquely identify a location (or a function as the accounting department) within the company or organisation. The location reference varies in length as a function of the GS1 Company Prefix length.
